The Pyrenees Orientales Itinerary starts at the encampment of the first known European at The Caune of Arago, and takes us right up to the Spanish border, but also takes us on a journey through audacious pictures and colours of the 20th and 21st centuries: Picasso, Matisse; Maillol, Tapies, Toni Grand…
This journey is very much that of Man, since these two dates represent the extent of all human activity in Europe, and yet in a very short distance we can see the major landmarks of our existence.
